01Move from Duda
Move off Duda without losing a page.
We sort out who can export the site and which features your business uses, then price the rebuild and the tools to reconnect. If your agency holds the Duda account, we work the handoff out with them.
It starts with whoever holds the account.
Duda lets only the account owner or their staff export a site. If your site sits in an agency account, the person who edits your pages may need the agency to send the files.
Your business
Confirm the content you own and the domain you use. Tell us where inquiries should arrive and which features your customers rely on.
The Duda account holder
Sends the published site export where the plan allows it, plus any content or records the export leaves out. Your agency can stay involved in the review.
CloudWeld
Turns the inventory into a working preview. We write down what gets replaced, test the connections and switch the domain once you approve.
We check the export against the features you use.
Duda exports the published site on eligible plans. Its documentation lists several exclusions, including dynamic pages and membership data, so we check the files against what your business uses.
The public website
We compare the exported files with your current pages, including the versions shown on phones and tablets. Unpublished changes need to be pointed out separately.
Services attached to it
We list the forms and booking tools in use. If a replacement needs custom work or a third-party subscription, it is written into the quote.
Every working feature gets checked, beyond the export.
A button can still show on an exported page after the service behind it has stopped, so we test every action a visitor can take on the new site.
| Part of your site | What comes with you | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Published pages | Your content and media from the published site. | We recreate the layouts for every screen size and compare the preview with your approved page list. |
| Blog and dynamic content | Your posts and the content behind your dynamic pages. | Duda sends blog content separately through RSS and leaves dynamic pages out of the export. We list both before we rebuild them. |
| Forms and booking widgets | The inquiry fields and booking destinations you want to keep. | Exported contact forms and some widgets need replacing. We reconnect each service and test the full action. |
| Old addresses and records | Your URLs and any past submissions you want to keep. | We add redirects where needed and hand over the records before the old account closes. |
Asked by Duda site owners
Can my existing agency stay involved?
Yes. We can work through the inventory and preview with your agency and settle who looks after the website after launch.
Does a site export include the blog?
No. Duda sends blog content through RSS, separate from the exported HTML. We check which posts and media are available before we plan the archive.
What happens to old form submissions?
We find where they are stored and export the ones you want to keep. That handoff is separate from connecting and testing the new forms.
Your proposal lists the website work, search setup and editing tools, with one fixed price. You keep the code, the content and your own accounts, and the monthly fee covers running it after launch.
How we scope the workMoving from somewhere else?
Talk through your Duda move.
Put in your Duda address. We go through every page before we talk, then send a fixed price and a go-live date.
